Fees & Conditions
Note for Private Clients
You do not need a referral to visit the Bentley Family Therapy Centre.
The practitioners at this practice include Psychologists/ Individual, Couple & Family Psychotherapists/Counsellors; Art Therapists; Play Therapists; who all meet national training standards and are registered with various relevant professional associations.
Some patients who are referred specifically for psychological counseling following diagnosis of a mental health disorder, to us directly by their doctor with a Mental Health Care Plan will be eligible for Medicare rebates. Please ensure that your GP has sent off the Care Plan to Medicare and provide the psychologist at your first appointment with details including (1) Date of referral to Medicare; (2) GP’s provider number.
Self-referred clients or those without a Mental Health Care Plan may be eligible for rebates from their Private Health Fund.
Most private health funds offer rebates for psychological/psychotherapeutic services.
At time of booking, please contact the individual practitioner for their fee structure and eligibility for rebates.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please phone your individual practitioner directly to let them know. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, you may be charged the scheduled cancellation fee.
